drewbearHas everybody seen these articles?
I can see the facts behind each of these articles as being completely true and appropriate, but I have this niggling feeling that the entire thing, especially the New York situation, is being hyped up by the administration. It's like we're a troop of monkeys and the alpha male (the administration) is secretly throwing rocks into the surrounding jungle to get us all worked up. Now, I'm not saying that the alerts are fakes. I can absolutely see the terrorists trying to attack us right before the election since they saw that it worked to their advantage in Spain. But lately, everything the administration does makes me feel like they're trying a little too hard, like when you were a kid and you'd be extra good when you'd done something bad and your parents hadn't found out yet. It just makes me feel nervous.
I really hope that my jokes about moving to Canada can remain jokes.
