drewbearFound a recently built/opened strip mall near my apartment which contains (in order) a check-cashing place, a GameStop, Condoms Express, and Payless Shoes. An odd combination to say the least. I checked out the GameStop and bought 3 used DVDs under a "buy 2, get 1 free" deal. My choices? Pitch Black, The Usual Suspects, and Stephen King's The Golden Years. All for less than $25 total.
I then checked out the Condoms Express for kicks, and encountered a hilarious loophole in Texas law. The sale of sexual toys is illegal in Texas (I think there're only 3 or 4 states left with laws like that), but there's an interesting loophole available for your porn perveyors (or porn pervs, your choice): you can't sell sextoys, but you CAN sell "gag gifts" and "cake toppers". Let's just let that image simmer for a bit, shall we?
...Yeah. Cake toppers. They were selling a 12-inch vibrator, as seen here, as a cake topper. Try getting *that* image outta yer head.
