I initially read that as "If I get laid, I get laid off", which is slightly different.

Your Dad is no better and just barely hanging in there. He is starting to look at raw meat, heart in particular, and declare it delicious. I'm starting to feel really bad as well. I'm coughing a lot and none of the medicine seems to work. You may have been pretending, but here, we really are having an epidemic of something awful, not the flu, not a cold. I'm really worried, I went to see Grandma yesterday and she kissed me on the lips, and then I kissed Elizabeth too. If you don't hear from me again, I love you.

I'm so sorry to hear that. :-( I assume you've called the ambulance and got Dad in the hospital by now... what are the doctors saying?

You have a good voice for voice posts... just a good actor in general (when I make my zombie movie, you're going to be the star). I also like how you start out subtle and build upon that. You have a great sense of dramatic tension.
