Oh Honey, I'm so sorry. Your Dad is home sick. He started out coughing violently, so hard I think he broke at least one rib. I have him wrapped pretty tightly so it isn't grating anymore when he breathes. He has taken so many breathing treatments today, that I don't believe his heart can take any more. He absolutely refuses to go to the hospital or to the doctor. Now he is spitting up a green substance, the consistency of split pea soup, but it smells vile, like pus. I don't know what to do. He is disoriented and becoming combative. I can't handle him. I think you should consider your own safety. I think this is contagious. It's like a super flu. The doc said when I called that none of the antivirals touch it and that I should keep your Dad at home and as comfortable as possible.
