I hate it when equipment failure causes personal failure!
Today I had the midterm for my Circuit Analysis lab, and on one part of it, I was supposed to measure the current flowing through a resistor. Except the measurement device wouldn't read it. It read the rest of the circuit fine, but it wouldn't read this one part. I re-set up the circuit three times, twice under the watchful eye of the lab instructor, and the damn machine STILL wouldn't read it. The instructor tried it himself and couldn't get it to work! I ended up having to wait for another machine to become available to finish my test using it, and ended up taking an extra 30 minutes to finish the damn test. I was the last one to leave, and it pisses me off. Especially since, once I got a working machine, I finished in less than 5 minutes. damn broken technology...
