Future!Hiro couldn't come up with something a little less cryptic than "Save the cheerleader, save the world"? Hmm... Well, he did say that meeting Peter AT ALL was risking trouble.

Wait, in the comic, Claire was already clear of the car when the paramedics got there. Continuity error, or did I just miss something.

So... Nathan's been practicing, has he? Impressive jet stream, too.

Poor Niki... she's got to be terrified, what with ikiN doing things with her body that she doesn't really want done.

Hiro is SO fanboying all over Nathan. :-) Most. Adorable. Hero. Ever.

Creepy Dad is able to make the Odessa-Vegas trip WAY too fast.

I repeat: Hiro is the most adorably geeky superhero ever. And hey! he's experiencing the joy heartbreak of trying to read instructions in a different language. :-P

I'm feeling mroe and more sorry for Niki as the season progresses... she actually *IS* trying to be the best person that she can and things keep NOT working out for her.

Same thing for Matt: he's trying to do the best he can, but keeps inadvertently screwing it up.

Aaaaaand Jock the Rapist isn't going to survive this meeting with Creepy Dad, is he?

Yup. There's Brainwipe to make sure that THIS version of JtR no longer exists.

Hmm... did Peter just deliberately mimic Isaac? Looks like someone is gaining control. Ooooo... Creepy Future Eyes look creepier on Peter than they do on Isaac.

Oh, Claire... Daddy Dearest already got a hold of Jock the Rapist. Talk about your "second chances", indeed.

Oh my lord... Ando actually did go to visit Niki! That would make him the creepiest stalker ever, yet kinda dorky at the same time.

Wow, Nathan's good at that politician's smile.

I think that Matt's wife is getting more than marginally creeped out by Matt's perfect responses. And it looks like he's heading for a Jean Grey telepathic meltdown, too. ::sigh:: yet again, he uses his power for good, but gets himself in trouble while doing so.

Aww... pathetic Ando is nicer than gamble-holic Ando. But not by much. And yet more of that "duality" theme for Niki.

And even if I hadn't been spoiled that D.L. has powers, that shot would've clued me in.

Yeah, I try not to watch the, "Next time on [Show]," bits, but I always do... That show is so fucking great... I love it.

Hiro is the greatest character ever. It really plays on my mild obsession with all things Japan. :) Makes me want to pick up the language again.

I do feel bad for Nicki, too. She doesn't really play the mom part well, but you still get the idea that she really cares about being a good mom for her boy.

Speaking of her boy, I'm thinking he's quite aware of exactly what he meant when he said the cops would never find L.D. a couple episodes ago. When you can phase shift or be all chameleon-like or whatever he was doing, it'd be hard to be found if you didn't want to be found.

Yeah, I have, but it's supplemental stuff, remember. Technically, we don't need to read that to know what's going on. And in any case, Nathan's been practicing a lot more than would be indicated in that comic.

Geek factoid: the actor who plays Hiro translates all his dialogue into Japanese himself so that he can tweak the exact wording and phrasing to fit Hiro better.

Yeah... Niki is by no means the world's greatest mom, but she's really, REALLY trying to do the bes she can for Micah.

1) DL can phase, like Kitty Pryde. 2) Fan consensus on the boards I follow is that Micah knew about his father's abilities either from the get-go or shortly after DL first broke out of prison. Of course, as the son of two supers, Micah almost certainly has abilities too. We just don't know whether or not he's been "activated" yet.

Well Micah seems to be amazingly smart for his age right now. His power may be mental. He probably just has not developed them beyond being super smart which means his potential could be limitless. I'm actually suprised and delighted they didn't go for the obvious "Save the Child, Save the Planet" with Micah. They actually picked a character that makes you wonder why she is so important. Her powers seem only beneficial to her, unlike the others.

I'm really hoping that Micah's power (assuming he has one) isn't superintelligence. I'd much prefer it if we had a character who was naturally smart, who happens to have another power on top of it.

She-hulk = Niki, as opposed to Cheerverine?

And I don't think that ikiN is Niki's power. I think that ikiN is just the half that can actually ACCESS the powers. I'm thinking super-strength with some super-speed, but I don't know whether or not she actually "hulks out", since her clothes don't get damaged. Of course, based on the promos for next week, it looks like ikiN might actually have a completely separate physical being that swaps out with Niki via reflective surfaces. But since ikiN is usually wearing the same thing as Niki, the transition is seamless.
