Feb. 27th, 2005 05:18 pmOkay, I'm on the road to a full-time job.
A few weeks ago, at my friend KJ's birthday party, he and a coworker of his mentioned that their company was going to be hiring people for a variety of positions soon. Today I checked with him and KJ told me that the company started interviews last week. The positions for which they're hiring range from totally un- to very experienced. I'm going to review and polish my resume and take it over this week.
I won't terribly mind a reduction in hourly wage because if I get hired, I'll have 40 hours/week FT instead of the current 20 from one PT and erratic from the other. Plus I'll have benefits, which I don't have now. Hell, if my hourly doesn't go down very much, I might be able to afford this apartment by myself instead of getting a new roommate when Sara moves out.
Wish me luck!
EDIT: Why does the teddy-bear emoticon set show teddy humping a doll for "hopeful"?
