Mother's Day was very nice. We (me, my parents & Katie, Sara & Michael, and Michael's parents) were supposed to meet at Biraporetti's (Gods, I know I screwed up that spelling, but I don't care enough to look it up), but when the elder Salas and I arrived there at 10:45, there was a 2-hour waiting list. So we decided that we were going to go somewhere else. :-P
We eventually decided to go to the Kimbell for lunch and go through their (free) permanent collection afterwards. The elder Salas were a little non-plussed (I don't think they'd ever been over there before), but everyone had a really good time.
If any of you ever visit me, I'm taking you over there. You have been warned. :-P
