Previously: Kelly was the bitchiest person ever, Rob out-foxed himself & prompted other teams to get ahead, Travelocity gnomes ::gag::, Gretchen can't climb, Team Patriotic comes in last on a non-elim.
Huh. I didn't know that Istanbul is technically on 2 continents.
As a reminder, Team Patriotic has been uber-mugged. Will it break them apart? Will they become stronger? Will we really care?
Dervishes are cool. Anyone who spins themselves as a sign of religious devotion is cool to watch.
Now they have to go to Abbey Road in London. With only one episode after this one, are they actually going to make it to Asia or Oceania? At least this was an actual CLUE, instead of just directions.
So Uchenna and Joyce didn't even consider any connecting flights? And it looked like they didn't check any other airlines either. That'll come back to bite them in the ass.
::sigh:: I can understand Rob not knowing what a dervish is, but he can't even *pronounce* it. It's exactly as it's spelled.
Gratuitous begging. ::gag::
Okay, it's cool that Rob immediately guessed Abbey Road as the destination.
See? There's a connecting flight that could theoretically get to London earlier. But I could understand not booking it since the second flight isn't guaranteed.
And now Team Patriotic is trying the theoretically faster connecting flights with Rob&Amber. I suspect that IF the second flight isn't overbooked, only one team will get tickets, thereby effectively eliminating the other team.
And the Frankfurt airport race is on!
Holy Anti-climatactic, Batman! Both Team Patriotic and Rob&Amber made the flight! Plus, they just reversed the lead that the other teams had from the previous leg.
::sigh:: Rob&Amber just got another Fern, didn't they. May I repeat how much I hate that there's a previously famous team on this show?
More gratuitous begging. ::double gag::
Yay giant Ferris Wheel thingies!
JESUS CHRIST! Kelly just won't let go of her nastiness, will she? She obviously feels the need to punish somebody for her own feelings of inadequacy and Ron happens to be nearby.
Oh, I would SOOOO do Brains over Brawn! Riddles are yay! And the destination is 221-B Baker Street!!!
And now, 90 minutes behind, arrive Team Gray and Uchenna&Joyce.
Itty-bitty printing!
Hee! Magnifying glass, Meercham pipe and deerstalker hat!
The Millenium dome is actually visible from space, y'know. And not just with spy satellites.
Aww. Poor Rob&Amber don't have their Fern anymore. How sad. [/sarcasm]
Interesting. The two teams with the 90-minute lead took the potentially longer task and the 2 teams behind took the physically harder but potentially shorter task. Not unexpected, but interesting.
A Yield is actually *USED*?! How unusual!
Double-decker bus! AND driving test!
Gretchen has a talent for psyching herself out, doesn't she?
...Yeah. After seeing both tasks, Brains was the better Detour.
So Rob can drive. Who'd'a thunk?
How long is that Yield-glass, anyway? And Rob, you KNOW there are 2 teams behind you. This doesn't finish you.
Uchenna is too nice for his own good. Although I find it interesting that Meredith(?) reminded him that no help is allowed.
The Horns of Triumphant Perserverance are playing over Team Gray. They're toally getting eliminated, aren't they?
Aww... Kelly tries to make a funny! The Devil made you do it, indeed! Maybe He made you do everything else so far. Wouldn't you like that excuse.
Wow. Uchenna&Joyce caught up? That must be one long Yield-glass.
::snerk:: Driving follies are fun to watch.
Kelly's totally about to break down. Can anyone tell me what the hell Ron sees in her?
Goodness. They arrived in London in the morning, there was daylight when Team Gray and Uchenna&Joyce arrived at the buses and they left the bus challenge at night. That took a lot of time.
Team Gray is last and eliminated. Too bad, so sad, now go home and sleep.
What's with the super-dramatic credits music?
Next week: 2-hour season finale, Team Patriotic finally FINALLY break up, Rob&Amber get detained by police, Uchenna&Joyce get detained by tire problems, tropical climes of some kind.
