Saturday Update

drewbearWell, the wedding went absolutely flawlessly. The weather was cool, clear and perfect; everything ran on time; Sean Roady (the other photographer) and I were able to get tons of shots (we'll see which ones are good later. ;-p ); and the reception was wonderful. Plus, one of Mikey's friends showed up in a kilt and full kit. Yum. It's too bad he's SMaK (Straight, Married and Kids).
In fact, the only thing I could point to as possible less than perfect was that the minister didn't project quite enough to reach all of those attending.
After the happy couple left in their car and everything was cleaned up at the reception, I brought Liz (one of the bridesmaids and my "Alternative Lifestyle Assistant" (TM![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
booboobob)) over to the apartment so we could both change. I finally got out of those damned dress shoes and she reluctantly took off her dress.
...Not like that, you pervs! :-) She changed into street clothes and we went to see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which was tons of fun. The opening song was hilarious, the special effects/CGI were excellent and appropriate and the casting was dead-on. I definitely want to see this again in theaters.
Anyhoo, I need to head to bed now. I'm going to breakfast with my Dad's relatives tomorrow and I have a couple of students starting at 11AM.
