What kinds of things bring you joy?

I don't know that I've ever been joyous, per se, but the things that bring me to tranquility, harmoniousness or ineffable "oneness" include the following:

Sudden moments of spontaneous beauty, the kind that make you stop dead in your tracks.

That old familiar book that you've read a dozen times before and will read a dozen times again.

Holding someone I care for. Not necessarily in a sexual manner, just holding them.

Being able to be myself with people, not holding back or hiding anything.

Submerging myself into a difficult problem and making it out the other side with that crystalline moment where you know that you've found the right answer.
