It's not referring to Creationism but "Intelligent Design" - the carefully stripped down version of Creationism that has supposedly removed all references specific to one religion, so that it's generally applicable... provided, of course, you have an inner faith in a Sentient Powerful Being or whatever.

And the thing is that many Christians I know who actually pay attention to the Bible and interpret it for themselves instead of having it hand fed predigested to them acknowledge or believe that evolution is or could be the method of "Intelligent Design". You know, kind of like a big experiment on God's part.
