2 years already?

I just realized that my birthday is exactly 2 months away and I've therefore been on LJ for exactly 2 years now. It's odd to think back to what's happened in the past 2 years: I endured bad teachers and decided to (temporarily) quit school, I finally admitted that I needed treatment for my depression and was put on very effective medication, my grandfather died & my grandmother's slow slide into dementia sped up, I moved into a new apartment, and I met a lot of friendly people I like.

Milestones are weird when they sneak up on you. Thanks for sticking around.
