Shit.

Remeber when I said that my cars seem to know when I'm getting my return and then eat the money? Yeah, it's happening again. I just got word from the garage that fixing the window will cost around $300 in parts and labor. But the fun part is that my intake manifold is leaking, and consequently, my radiator has a fair amount of oil in it. The cost to replace the gaskets, get an oil change, and flush the radiator would be another $400-$450, and that's assuming that the radiator won't need replacing. Total cost: ~$750.

And the wonderful thing is that until I get my refund back, I can't afford any of this without dipping into my savings! I don't have room on my card (I was planning on putting the refund towards that), and my checking balance is less than $200, all of which is earmarked towards utility bills!

Shit. I know I'm going to have to do it, but I hate this. My savings are the only buffer I have, and this is going to almost completely wipe them. Shit shit shit.

EDIT: I told them to fix just the manifold/radiator problem but not the window, since it isn't supposed to rain again until next weekend, by which time I'll hopefully have some more money coming in. Unfortunately, because of the labor involved, they won't be finished with the car until about noon on Monday. So unless I can borrow someone's car, I'm going to have to cancel my tutoring appointment tomorrow, which means less money in the paycheck. Shit shit shit.

I just want to cry.
