Thoughts on tonight's Lost

Dear god. That scene just single-handedly inspired a wave of Jin/Harley slashfic, didn't it?
Aaaaaaand it's official. Sayid can have chemistry with anyone, even Locke. Creepy chemistry, but chemistry nonetheless.
Y'know, Locke has been creepy since day one, but I think that this is the first action which solidly qualifies as evil.
Lostzilla certainly has a keen sense of dramatic timing, doesn't it? And Boone is now the second person we can confirm has seen the critter, which makes him the obvious apprentice to our residentfreak of nature shaman, Locke. And his inconvenient personal ties are now severed, too. Isn't. That. Convenient.
And there's the much anticipated incest!kiss. ::shrug::
Frankly, I would rather Boone had been killed than Shannon. Especially in the last few episodes, Shannon has been fleshed out more, and IMO would have ultimately been more useful, since she can (sorta) speak French. As far as I can tell, all Boone's good for is to add some alpha-male posturing between him and Jack (already covered with Sawyer AND Sayid, thanks) and to act as Locke'sbutt buddy apprentice. And Walt seems to be sliding into that spot as well. ::sigh::
Aw, HELL no!
And was that an OMGWTFPOLARBEAR in the previews? I'm guessing that next week is the Michael/Walt flashback-episode.
EDIT: Oh how COOL!
After Lost ended, I left the TV on for the first few minutes of Alias, the other JJ Abrams produced show, and playing in the background of a party scene was Driveshaft's #1 hit "You All Everybody"! God love the subtle cross-promotion! And it canonically ties the two series into the same universe, which is. Just. COOL!

Date: 2005-01-13 04:11 am (UTC)I'm just waiting to see which character is revealed as gay/bi/lesbian. If it weren't for that whole icky psuedo-incest thing, I'd say it was Boone. And even so, he's still in the top 5.
The others are Jack (COMPLETE lack of chemistry between him and Kate), Harley (no apparent attraction to any of the women and no backstory yet), and Scott&Steve, the Wonder Background Characters (who are always in the scene togethor or mentioned together).
