Last week, on The Amazing Race, we were faked out by an unexpected "To Be Continued". What's next?

Wait, what? They're reviewing the first 6 legs & showing previously unseen clips? What the hell's going on here?

The only thing I can think of is that one of the online rumors is true: at some point during the race, one of the teams just quits during the Pitstop, thereby narrowing down the field (and potentially shortening the Race) much sooner than TPTB were expecting. IF this is true, I can only hope that it's Jonathan/Victoria.

EDIT: While some of these bonus clips are highly entertaining, I understand why they were cut from the original episodes. I'm still wondering what the hell happened that the PTB came up with not one, but TWO separate stall tactics ("To Be Continued" & a recap show).

Guatemalan friend of EDIT: Edit's friend just suggested that maybe the TBC was because too much happened during that leg for it to be compressed into just one episode.

I don't hope Jonathan and Victoria quit. I hope they get arrested or develop disgusting stomach flus or get eaten by rabid squirrels. Quitting? Waaaaaay too easy for them.

If they do quit during a leg of the race, though, I'd appreciate it if Victoria told Jonathan to fuck off and walked off the show or Jonathan gets kicked off the show for behaving like the complete asshat that he is. Mostly, I just want the two of them to go the hell away, because they're ruining one of my favorite shows, damn it.

(The sad thing is, I'm still trying to find a screencap of Jonathan in the fuzzy baby blue hat for iconing purposes. *sigh*)

The problem is that Jonathan has so far managed to stay juuuuuust on this side of illegality (spousal abuse non-withstanding) and Victoria is too much a captial-V Victim to ever leave him. And frankly, the only way I can see Jonathan getting kicked off would be if he assulted another team.

BTW, my family has been debating on whether "professional entrepenuers" means pornographers or drug dealers. We're currently leaning towards pornographers, with Jonathan as the director/producer and Victoria as one of the "(ex-)stars". What's your take?

I've thought they were making porn from the very beginning, but mostly I blame Miss Alli because she pretty much called them on the "professional entrepeneurs" bit in the very first recap. ;)

I think one of the things that's disgusted me about them after seeing the last few episodes was that there were photos of them on their website from the viewing party of the first episode -- Victoria wearing a "Free Victoria" tank top, and Jonathan wearing a shirt that said "Dictator" on the back.

And I'm not even going to get into Jonathan's constant references to his "creating a character" for the show. *gags*
