Dec. 9th, 2004 09:04 pmIt's really frustrating; I'm pretty good at building RPG scenarios, but I'm utter crap at actually running them. And since I know many/most/all of the details, I can't even hand off the game for someone else to run (while I participate). I repeat: it's really frustrating. >:-(

Date: 2004-12-10 07:55 am (UTC)You should write it down. You never know when WOTC or another company is going to run another contest for new scenarios.
Eberron is pretty cool (the winner from WOTC lastest constest) and my group gave it a try a couple of months (hence the uproar to create a new one.)

Date: 2004-12-12 01:09 pm (UTC)Right now we are playing with the idea of a 1840 (First World War) setting where magic is illegal and the goverment persues anyone who comes in contact with it. You see, magic disappeared years ago and now there is a first "wave" coming back.

Date: 2004-12-13 11:07 am (UTC)Magic reappear 75 years ago or more. First there were tales of creatures around thwe woods and all but soon it was too evident to denied.
Not everyone can use magic. Only the ones with special "training/bloodline" can.
There are magic-based creatures.
Magic is illegal. The goverment persues anyone who practice it.
Wel, that's a start.
Thanks so much for your help :D
