Okay, people, don't lie about why you want an appointment. If you want to bring in your kid for a checkup and cleaning, say so. Don't tell me that he's in pain if he's not. I schedule appointments for specific timeslots and need to know what's going to happen so that I can fit you in as soon as possible. I repeat, DON'T LIE TO ME!!

Hmmm, lying to the dentist to get in? He's not in pain? I'd tell (lying) mommy that there's no hygenist available. Charge for a office visit and make the bitch reschedule the cleaning.

Single father paying cash, and we actually had enough time to do the full workup & cleaning on the kid (last-minute cancellations suck too), so time wasn't really the problem. It just chaps my ass when people LIE to try to get what they want. >[
