drewbearI spent the night over at a friend's place last night. I had a good time hanging out with him, but I wish we didn't live 25 miles apart; it makes for a long drive through *shudder* Dallas traffic *shudder*.
Apaprently, I've got quite a reputation over at Country Day private school in Fort Worth. Over the past year or so, fully 2/3 of my tutoring students have been from there, and I've been told that nearly all of them specifically requested me after reccommendations from other families. Right now, of my 3 students, 2 are from Country Day, and one of them is a repeat who liked me enough to want me again! I'm supposed to be seing him tonight, but I've been unable to get in contact with the family to confirm whether or not they've received the tutoring materials, so I don't know if I'm actually going or not.
My math teacher didn't assign as homework, but highly reccommended that we work on this problem that he described in class on Thursday. I don't know about you, but that sounds like "will probably be on the exam" to me. I'll look at it tonight if the tutoring lesson falls through.
I really need to do laundry, but I also really don't want to. Maybe I'll let it form into a sentient being that dispenses wisdom, ala The Trash Heap from The Fraggles. With my luck, I'd end up with the spirit of Carson from Queer Eye: "Oh, honey! You are NOT going out wearing that, are you? That color makes you look sallow and drab, like a cheap K-Mart special fashion victim. Here, try this instead."
