Aug. 28th, 2004 11:53 amIt's strange; I always get more creative when I'm experiencing a modicum of stress. Now that school's started up again, I'm feeling an urge to resume work on some of my writing projects, and I have little snippets popping into my head. Stuff like
"I live on the bottom of an ancient sea, long since turned to salt and silt."
or
"Applause fell like rain on a tin roof, and he drank in all of it."
Right now I've got a "water" theme going on, but that's probably because it rained fairly hard last night and is still drizzling somewhat. And I, being the fool who didn't check the weather reports, had left my driver's side window open about half an inch. The seat is soaked. *groan* But at least there was no rain damage to the stuff in the backseat.
And now I've got a towel on the seat as I go to my tutoring student. Oh well.
