Am I the only one who was incredibly surprised that Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital was still on the air? I was under the impression that it was a miniseries, but it's been running since March, so apparently it's more like a... whatchacallit... piece of crap that wouldn't die? Is that the correct term?

I'm really surprised, since I read somewhere what incredibly shitty ratings that thing was pullin' in~

I watched the premier episode out of hope that the series would be as good as some of King's other mini-serieses (The Stand, Golden Years) and it was truly bad. When you take an instant dislike to half the "good guys" within the first 30 minutes, there's a problem. I get the feeling that ABC is only airing the rest of it 'cause they've already paid for it and they've got nothing else to run at the moment.

I can sum up the ridiculousness in three words: Carnivorous psychic anteater.
