Jun. 19th, 2004 07:11 pmI've recently been on an "end-of-the-world" kick in my entertainment choices. I read "Lucifer's Hammer" for the first time (wonderful book!), I read "Apocalypse Now", and I'm currently about 2/3 through Stephen King's "The Stand". I went to go see "The Day After Tomorrow" with my family. I'm sporadically playing Fallout and Fallout 2.
And now I've stumbled across Exit Mundi. While the site maintainers admit that some of the scenarios presented are extremely unlikely, I find the variety of ways that the world could end fascinating. Occasionally terrifying, yes, but fascinating nonetheless.
