So I just saw Prince Caspian and I have one question:

Why did no one tell me the Talmareans were so fucking hot?! I mean, really! It's like someone in casting said "Okay, find me the most astoundingly, unbelievably attractive Spaniards you can find. Beards are a plus."

Also, I really liked the Temptation of Christ Caspian scene. The White Witch is an awesome villain and I'm glad that we got to see her again, even if only briefly. My prediction? She's going to show up in most/all of the movies, at least until we see her origins in The Magician's Apprentice.

The idiot who's journal where you were discussing Ed Rodriguez is claiming that Jameth only reported him because "Jameth is so immature he must think gay relationships are gross" when anyone who's read Jameth's journal for like 5 seconds could figure out that he's a gay man himself. Said idiot also banned me for politely refuting her false accusation that Jameth created Frienditto (http://ginmar.livejournal.com/1417965.html?thread=46552813#t46552813), but anyway... Ed Rodriguez was using LJ to solicit teenage boys and was a convicted sex offender for sexual contact with a minor under the age of 13. Not mere statutory rape, but UNDER 13. Jameth posted a link to Ed Rodriguez's sex offender entry and bizarrely, LJ Abuse threatened to suspend his account. Jameth was clearly doing the right thing there and he specifically told people not to harass Ed Rodriguez IRL (as it's illegal to use sex offender entries for the purpose of harassment).

Neither this post nor my journal in general are fora for this kind of debate, as you would've been able to tell had you actually cared enough to look. However, I'll allow you *ONE* response to this comment so that you can post whatever final response you wish. Anything further in this vein will be considered trolling or harassment and will have you banned from my journal. I am telling you this merely so that we are both aware of the ground rules.

Now, then. Yes, I'm aware that jameth is gay or at the very least presents himself as such online. My initial comment, which started this particular shitstorm, was not claiming that he felt that a gay relationship was distasteful but rather that he found relationships with age discrepancies distasteful which, true or not, was my interpretation and understanding of his actions at that time.

I will freely admit that I don't know what Rodriguez was using his LJ for, if anything. I didn't read his LJ and became aware of the LJDrama-storm because Rodriguez's then-boyfriend made mention of it on a community we were both members of. And yes, when I became aware that then-boyfriend was 16 I was also somewhat uncomfortable with their age difference, especially in light of their apparent plans to move in together. However, the means and methods by which Jameth and the rest of the LJDrama crew went about "exposing" them were and are deplorable, no matter the outcome.

As I said on ginmar's journal, a single good outcome does not excuse a long-term, consistent pattern of cruelty, mockery and deliberate shit-stirring, which is the legacy that Jameth & Co. have among those fortunate enough to not be part of the LJDrama/ED crew. Also, publicly providing the IRL name and address of a target, detailing reasons to dislike/hate said target, then saying "oh, but don't harass him!" is disingenuous at best and blatant cover-my-ass-ery at worst.

Incidentally, with regards to Frienditto, ginmar never claimed that jameth created it. Until you brought it up, that little whirlwind of drama hadn't even been part of the discussion. But since you HAVE brought it up, let's address it briefly.

True, no one has admitted to creating or running Frienditto (and who can blame them? They'd be idiots for doing so), but it was clearly created with the intent of being used by LJDramaQueens to prevent victims from cutting off the drama at the source by removing/locking posts. That strongly implies that FD was created by or at the behest of someone associated with LJD/ED. jameth was and continues to be the most strongly suspected candidate because of his apparent delight at hoaxing people with FD and during the FD debacle. This thread pops almost immediately to mind.

At this point, it almost doesn't matter whether or not jameth did half the shit attributed to him; his verifiable history is sufficient to label him as precisely the type likely to be the sadistic bully that he is currently trying to claim he isn't.

I'm not trying to debate anything. The only reason I commented in your journal was because I was unable to reply to your comment in ginmar's post, because I was immediately banned after mentioning that Jameth wasn't involved in Frienditto, and you had no email address or alternative way to contact you aside from an LJ comment. Essentially the only thing I wanted to mention was that Ed Rodriguez was convicted of sexual contact *with a child under the age of 13*. You seemed to be under the impression that the teenage boys in question were of an age of consent that would vary from state to state, when in fact they were children under 13. And the part about the IRL name wasn't provided by Jameth himself, it was provided by the state where Ed Rodriguez was convicted, I think Illinois, so your concern there should really be with the state and not with Jameth for posting a link to the state's site.

I'm a little confused as to why you would say you aren't interested in discussing any of this and then made a lengthy response, and since your mind is clearly made up there's probably no point in discussing this. One point of clarification, though, is that in the ditto_cops thread where everyone is accusing Jameth of creating Frienditto, almost all of the accusers are friends of Jameth's, i.e. that was an elaborate prank on their part to "blame Jameth for Frienditto."

Um, diphsit? You don't have a right to discuss anything in anybody else's blog. I realize you guys think you're the shit, but in fact you're just shit. Jameth has been bullying people for years and so he has nothing to stand on now that people are treating him the way he's treated others. And if he says that he did one good thing out of all the bullshit, well, I need proof other than his toadies whining about it. One good thing? That's it? That's his whole resume? Pathetic.

YOu do realize who rfjason is, right? He's the guy that posted the ad on craigslist, pretending to be a woman, and then published the real names, personal info, and photos of the assholes that responded. Now he's being sued. I really don't know who to feel bad for there: the guys he exposed were utterly vile, but he's an asshole, too. Just another LJDramaturd.
