drewbearHrnn... Angry with myself.
My area had a 'net outage this morning when booted me off less than 5 minutes after I got online. The local cable office said it would be back up in a few hours. I finally got tired of waiting about 30 minutes ago and called back to find out why I hadn't gotten connection back yet.
Let me repeat: My connection was out for 10 hours.
It turns out that the area outage was corrected by noon, but something about how they brought it up fucked up my modem. Not only did I have to reset it TWICE, I had to completely shut down my firewall and antivirus software before the modem could connect.
God, I'm pissed at myself. This could've been fixed hours ago. >:-(
