Heroes 1.12: Godsend

Now that I'm FINALLY getting to see the episode, only a week behind everyone else, I hope that you all enjoy my little ramblings.

Previously: Everything, really.

So apparently the Petrellis can band together. It just takes the near-death of one of their own to make it happen.

So it looks like Jessica's been in charge during this little sojurn into the criminal system.

Wow... Claire really manages to pull off the "confused about my missing memories" thing. And Papa Bennett actually looks like he feels bad about it, too.

So not only has OWI figured out the genetic coding that determines powers, but they've managed to identify which ones cause which ones. Neat!

So did OWI clear out the facility already or are they just using someone's power to keep it hidden?

Oh, how I've missed Hiro and Ando. And of course the sword has The Mark on it. Now I have to wonder whether that's because Hiro went back and commissioned it. ;-)

Wait... that "being strangled" flash in Peter's coma-vision (TM) was new. Wonder what THAT'S all about...

Wow... all of a sudden, I see the Petrellicest.

I find it interesting how Niki/Jessica and DL have flipped positions inside/outside jail. And they both love their son. :-D

So in Kensai's story myth or truth? And The Symbol is defined!

And we also find out Pixie's real name. A little late, but cool. Still find Mohinder increasingly boring.

Y'know, Matt really isn't all that bright, is he? Hanging out in the parking lot of the place you're covering for 3 weeks and assuming that no one will notice? Right.... I'm curious though, earlier, was Sylar in the same location as he was originally? Because I thought that was in the paper company, but apparently not. Hmm.

Poor Claire and Zach. Claire really wants to stay friends with him, but without the memories, it's so hard.

Ali Larter is quite the actress. She's pulling off Niki and Jessica's personality flips insanely well. The tones of voice, the facial expressions, the entire bearing... Muy impressivo

::snerk:: Hiro is such a bad liar. :-) And Hiro's suffering a classic crisis-of-confidence = loss of powers thing. However, slo-mo rather than full-on time-stop may be useful in the future. Learning accidental skills can be quite useful. I am worried that he's going to place too much talismanic power in the sword and form a mental block similar to Isaac's with the smack.

I still think that Isaac looks better scruffy, but the fuzzy chest makes up for it. :-) I wonder... did Deep Cleaner wipe Isaac's memories too?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Hiro TOTALLY blew Nathan's cover! And the look on Nathan's face! It cannot be repeated often enough: Hiro is made of pure win. :-D

Okay, so were Claires "parents" her real bio-parents? And was it just one of them that is/was powered are are/were both of them? I feel so bad for her; she just wants to be normal and she's finding out that everything she thought she knew was a lie.

::snerk:: Nathan is still having trouble getting his head wrapped around the concept of powers. And Hiro's not helping.

Radioactive Ted's been practicing, I see. Ominous.

And Claire's trying to reboot the friendship with Zach by starting from the beginning. Somehow I fear that this won't end well. Her injuries seemed worse this time, but that may just be the vagaries of falling. I do like how she's planning for contingencies now that she knows that there are people who can fuckk with her mind and her father's ruthless enough to send 'em after her.

The Sanders/Hawkins family may be screwed up, but they do stick together. Interesting comparison to the Petrellis. Although I wonder how safe it was for DL to phase through the barrier window, though.

It's Molizard! And Papa Bennet? This could be... interesting. But if OWI doesn't have a copy of Chandra Suresh's list, how have they been tracking down supers? How'd they find Matt, for instance?

Speaking of whom, it's time for more Matt 'n Janice Marriage Troubles! Of course, if and when Janice believes him, she's gonna freak, methinks.

So has Peter just been reliving the same vision over and over? Hey! Someone new! Wonder who Laughing Man is... Looks like he's important, though. It doesn't look like Radioactive Ted, but I guess Peter really is the New York Nuke.

Looks like everyone is gonna be converging in Vegas. And Luaghing Man is invisible... I wonder why that causes Peter to overload. Is it not the type of powers, or just the number?

Nice symbolism with Hiro slinging the art-tube over his shoulder like a samurai sword. And again, Ali Larter is doing an outstanding job playing Niki/Jessica.

Next week Monday: Dunno. Scifi didn't show the previews.

Goodness gracious, how I've missed this show. :-)
