Previously: That same damn nuke footage! Chinese newscast! Family drama! IRS meltdown! Gray flips out!

I take it that Stanley and this other guy are the only ones Jake could convince to join his Praetorian Guard? Nope, just a turkey shoot. Hey! Maybe they should recruit Dick Cheney! He can hunt and kill men at the same time!

It's Thanksgiving already? So it's been what? 3 months? and they still have boxed and canned food from before the bombs? No wonder people are "starving"; no-one actually eats any of the food they have.

I cannot believe that no one in Jericho has every gone hunting before. Maybe all the real hunters just (sensibly) avoided Jake.

It's a turkey! It's a cargo plane! It's Stupor Jake!

As an aside: this whole "mysterious boxes falling from the sky" thing would be more suspenseful if CBS hadn't been running promos all fucking week that showed that they're Chinese food drops.

Once again, the Rolling Hills of Kansas get in their cameo time. At this point, they're practically supporting cast.

The last batch of bootleg may cause blindness, yet all of it was drunk... Why am I not surprised.

No Commie food for you! Stupid paranoid Jake. Why do you think that the people who nuked the cities are the same people who dropped the food? We send food aid all the time to countries we didn't bomb.

Way to waste a round, Paranoid Cop. You're lucky you didn't kill anyone with that stray round.

So Gray is already/still in campaigning mode. "The only thing that proved is that you're clinically stupid." ::snerk:: Oh, Mayor Dad, it's not just Gray.

There's no way that the corn would still be in the field at Thanksgiving.

Gracie gets whinier and whinier, which is unfortunate since I liked her so much at the start. Jonah's getting darker and more threatening, though, which is a ncie change of pace from the Hallmark Movie Of The Week feel of the rest of this show.

Good going, Mayor Dad. Put Gracie (the female shopkeeper vulnerable to retaliation) in the position of making the decision and bearing the onus. Mayor Dad's a bit of a bastard, isn't he?

I have to admit, I'd be flipping out over chocolate, too. Mimi does have a point about sharing the supplies with the town that was willing to leave them stranded to the mercies of the mercenaries.

Mama Green is really being a bitch to Eric and I'm glad that Mayor Dad called her on her hypocrisy.

So are those the Ass Bandits taking the generator, then? How did they know that the drops were there? Methinks that they've been scouting a perimeter around the town without anyone else noticing. Not that that would be all that hard.

It's odd... the townsfolk are finally starting to act realistically... I'm so confused.

Mayor Dad's losing his authority as we watch.

Lordy... could the security around the Compound of Rough Gay Love (And Banditry) be any worse?

Jonah has a point about the complete lack of gratitude from the Jerichoans. It's like if you're not immediately valuable or useful to the townsfolk, they couldn't give a shit about you.

Emily is pretty blythe about almost getting killed. I think that one of 2 things is happening: 1)She has a deathwish or 2)she's trying to show off for Jake.

Way to moralize, Mayor Dad. I honestly think that Eric is totally in the right in this situation: a kid does NOT make things all better and having your wife keep that pregnancy from you doesn't make it any better.

Aww... the Mimi/Stanley romance is progressing nicely. I have to wonder if that's the same radiation-killing iodine that Stanley swigged several episodes back.

Jonah's position as alpha dog of the Ass Bandits appears to be in jeopardy as well. I find the parallels between Mayor Dad's and Jonah's loss of authority. I sincerely doubt that Mitch Cafferty would be able to effectively lead the Ass Bandits, though.

"In what world does that make sense?" Umm, Eric, it's called a "cooperative mission".

Tang and tequila. Mmm, mmm, good. ::retch:: I love how Mimi immediately put it down and pushed it away, though.

So in the Green household, requesting privacy means that everyone else has to clear out of the house?

Yet more boring Eric/April failed marriage boredom.

You know, that comment about the gennie maybe being a bomb combined with Hawkins' request to wait until he was gone before switching it on made me laugh.

Why, oh why is everyone eating at night instead of during the day when the light is free? And everyone's using WAY more candles than are actually needed.

Oh, good Lord. I've never liked these musical montage scenes. They're so totally unnecessary.

Aw, crap. Once they started advertising that someone would die, I was afraid that it would be Gracie, but I really hoped it wouldn't be.
