Now, I don't know what the hell my ex-upstairs neighbors were doing to their apartment, but this is day 4 of renovations on that thing. And these aren't basic "change the locks, repaint the walls" repairs, oh no; it sounds like they're hammering up drywall and when I came home for lunch yesterday, it appeared that they were replacing the carpet as well.

Somehow, I doubt that those people are going to get a good reference for their next apartment complex.

In other news, the apartment two up from mine was rented out right before the beginning of the month and, based on their plates and stickers on their cars, the new tenants are some Louisiana evacuee lesbians. Always good to have some "family" in the area. :-Þ
