Well, Jack!Daddy never spoke to Jack and Boone's vision of Shannon's death was because of Locke's Special Magic Brew (aka all the most hallucinogenic substances on the island mashed together into a paste). Walt actually tried to say something to Shannon, and the method in which he did it made it look/seem like he was doing so "under the radar", so to speak. I guarantee that someone has a copy of the whispers and Walt and is enhancing it right now.
Yeah, Tyler Labine was in another crappy TV show a few years back called Dead Last. It was a real stinker, but he was just as cute. Delicious little cub. ;-)
