I've been stressed & tired lately (yeah, I know, what's new about that?) but it's gotten a lot worse in the last week or so for a variety of reasons. Let's just say that, if offered a job starting Monday, I'd take it without giving notice to my current employers. Also, I've had a worsening cough since Wednesday. Since we had a coworker miss all of last week due to the flu, we did a flu test on me and surprise! I'm positive!
Blargh. I have a mild-ish fever and the cough, but no other symptoms yet, so hopefully we caught this in time to minimize my tour of the Lands of Wishing For Death. The doc on duty (a REALLY nice guy, too) wrote me a Tamiflu 'script, which cost $86 at the pharmacy, WITH my insurance discount/adjustment.
::sigh:: At least I had the money, thanks to working on Thanksgiving Day for doubletime. Still, I had plans for that money & it's annoying to have this happen instead.
