Oil rallies again as demand stays strong: Why am I not surprised that the USGov't-reported oil demand hasn't been affected by rising oil prices. Could it be because too many consumers love to drive their dick compensators "Look at ME!!!"-mobiles SUVs? Or because the current administration has such close and tight ties to the oil industry? Or because oil companies will raise their prices whenever possible and to the highest amount currently tolerable?

And in local news: Perry's school funding plan unveiled. I'm of two minds about this: the school system definitely needs more money for just about everything, but state monies set aside for the school systems tend to mysteriously disappear before they can do much/any good. The state lotto was supposed to raise money for the school system and the gods alone know where it actually goes nowadays.
