Chapter 2: In which the author's head explodes...

Well, I have more that I could rant about, but I have to get going for my first student of the day. Enjoy yourselves, friends!

I'm so weird. :-)

While tutoring, I'm my normal, weirdfunnymanic self, which I find generally works better to help the kids learn. They definitely remember me, and remember what I've been telling them more clearly. Hey, it seems to work, okay?

Anyway, during a break with one of my students today, we somehow got onto the subject of tattooing, and whatsisname, the guy with the full body jigsaw puzzle, came up. H, my student, wondered how this guy managed to pay for all those tattoos, and the first thing out of my mouth was:

"Well, he is a professional sideshow freak, after all."

We were both stunned by the sheer uniqueness of that statement and honored it with a moment of reverent silence.
