Jun. 9th, 2004 04:59 pmIt's raining again. Now, I like the rain, and gods know that we'll need it considering the area's tendency towards drought in the summer, but having 5 of the last 7 days with downpours is a bit much, don't you think?
In other news, my mother related this story of homosexuality in the Est Texas town of Longview. As she was driving along the loop, she spotted a redneck gay man. She could tell this because of the following: he had an obvious mullet, there was a HRC "equality sign" sticker and a rainbow flag sticker on the rear window of his pickup, and you know those mudflaps with silhouettes of reclining naked girls? He had the same mudflaps with naked men on them. Mom made my day when she told me this; I laughed for a few minutes solid.
