...and the flowers are here early.

I've been feeling better recently (likely because of the meds) and I've been out taking pictures of the wildflowers. Now, if you don't live in Texas, you might not know about this state treasure. You see, the state flower, the bluebonnet, is a wildflower (incidently, it's a crime to pick or mow over a bluebonnet in Texas; they die and fade pretty quickly, so it's not worth it). And bluebonnets grow quite well with other wildflowers, so it's not unusual to be driving on the highway and see huge patches of wildflowers, with bluebonnets, indian paintbrush, dandelions, and more. The colors are usually pretty spectacular.

Anyway, I got my film back, and remembered to get the "pictures on CD" option, so here are some of my wildflower pics. You can also see some pics of me as well as some from this Xmas lightshow thing near Longview.

[EDIT] Aaaaaaand I just found out that Yahoo compress the fuck out of the photos, making them look incredibly crappy. Does anyone know of a *free* photo hoster that I could use?

First: I hope you have/had a good Ostara.

Second: What cameras/photography equipment do you use when you go spook-hunting? I'm trying to get a feel for some things I may do in the future, and I know that you use your equipment in some interesting scenarios. Thanks!
