CompuDeath Part Two: The Aftermath

So one $35 power supply and a heartfelt prayer to Murphy to call off his gremlins later, my computer is back up and running. The new CD-ROM works, neither of my hard-drives were damaged, the motherboard is fine; in fact, the only damage from the old supply's last gasp of surging power is that my 3.5 drive is fried. But I can get one cheap from (where else) Fry's. C'mon! 4 trips in 5 days isn't overkill; it's a slo-mo upgrade!

Now the apartment just smells like cupcakes.
