Job Fair

Well. That wasn't quite what I was expecting. I didn't have any specific expectations, but it was less... impressive than I thought it would be. Of the 20 booths there, 3 were employment agencies, 2 were learning facilities, and at least 5 were looking for sales reps only. ::shrug:: I left my resume with 6 of the remainder and I'll see what comes of it.

He said it was weird and they had an "It's ok, we can work around that" for everything he said from "I don't have the college degree prerequisite" to "I don't drive. Ever."

But they didn't mention desk work, seems they want him on foot patrol or bicycle.
Sheesh! He didn't stay long.

Yeah, I didn't stay long either. Only about 15 minutes.

Well, my family lives here and I like being close to the Ft. Worth Cultural district, which is surprisingly sophisticated. But yes, I do sometimes consider moving somewhere else.
