Coolness. For some reason, I hadn't added you yet. Corrected now.
Btw, "polyfi" is poly-fidelity, right? Sorta-kinda like a closed group marriage? (Yes, I'm very ignorant of the degrees of poly relationships. Please don't hold it against me.)
Added yu back (I usually wait for somone to friend me first since I'm so scary and all...) Yes, polyfidelity is exactly that and a family I have been working on for about 2 years now.
I'm getting ready to post something about all that here but I got to be careful so nazi-ish thorbear and/or thatfatboy moderators dont delete the post...
And if you are extra curious, you could simply just join the open discussion yahoo group where I post explanations and teachings and stuff. It is NOT my private harem yahoo group.
Scary?... I didn't see anything frightening or bothersome on your journal aside from some TMI stuff, and I can always (gasp! shock!) skip that if it exceeds my comfort threshhold. ::shrug:: It seems like some people go out of their way to be offended.
I see a list of the yahoo groups in your userinfo; polygaychub is the one you're referring to?
If it's a problem with just one site, I just use IE for that one site. Like if I need to d/l a game patch from fileplanet, Firefox doesn't cut the mustard (can't install the Active-X control or whatever). But, luckily, that's the only site I've a problem with. I still use Firefox for everything else.
Hmm... I've been thinking about switching away from IE for a while. It's just that Netscape doesn't seem to handle a lot of the web-coding that IE can. I take it that Firefox doesn't have this problem (aside from Active-X)?
Doooo iiiit. I don't know what you mean specifically about handling web-coding, but like I said, I use Firefox (at home, at work, I'm stuck with IE) for all sites on the internet, but one (and I only go to Fileplanet when I have to). Try it out. It won't hurt, and you can uninstall it if you don't like it. :)
Just remember: middle-click opens links in new tabs (so handy), install extensions like Adblock, Flashblock, IE View (if you really need to load up a link in IE)
Didnt work that way with yahoo euchre. Mozilla loads it VERY slow and also increases my ping time which irritates other players (you have to play very fast in yahoo euchre) and it totally disabled the MS version of java rendering yahoo euchre in IE useless. And with Yahoo Euchre being about the most important thing I do, I just un-installed firefox AND the sun java that it made me install to run euchre (which is/was probably THE problem but I couldnt (ahem) afford to wait any longer and become frustrated. See, not only do I play by myself 10 times a day but we have a regular wednesday night game session with my family spread out in indiana, ohio and florida AS WELL AS I run "Gay Yahoo Euchre Players" group that we play every Tuesday.
Dallas area, sorry. And while I enjoy music and fine art, the limit of my ability is mediocre drawing and singing along to the radio. I still think I'll check out the group; if you don't mind, that is.
