drewbear | (no subject)

Oh god, that was gross. I was rinsing the dinner dishes and heard something in the cabinet underneath the sink. I looked and the disposal engine casing was leaking, and had apparently been leaking for at least a few weeks, since the stuff under it was badly water-damaged or rotting. I scooped out nasty water into a bucket, and ended up with about 3 INCHES of brown water. This is a dark green bucket, so the water has to be pretty damn nasty to be visibly brown in there. *shudder* I called the apartments' maintanence crew, and the guy told me that he'll be over sometime tomorrow, and to not use the sink in the meantime.

I am so scrubbing and bleaching the floor as soon as the sink is fixed.
