Jericho 1.18: AKA
Previously: Hawkins, Hawkins, Hawkins!
Hawkins has dream sequences in which we're supposed to feel more sympathy with him, but come ON! He a psycho stalker terrorist with severe boundary issues!
I took a WEEK for Sherriff Jimmy to talk with anyone about Hawkins' fake FBI badge? Not even to Grey? No wonder crime is on the rise...
No, Jimmy, probable cause is when there's an immediate and present reason to bust in. What you're doing is, as Jake put it, paranoia-fueled B&E. And compounding your busting in by breaking open locked doors and desk drawers? Just a little illegal, my friend.
I'm surprised that Jimmy wasn't sticking around too.
Aww.... Emily been made all useless! How cute!
HAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!! I LOVE how Mimi's giving a classic "exit interview" to the chicken. When this show started, who knew that I'd come to love her so much?
Heh. GuessMayor Daddy Green is starting to get a taste for not being in power. And everyone else is finally figuring out Grey's uselessness.
Somehow I really doubt that A) Hawkins would've kept those other false IDs this long without destroying them and B) that he wouldn't've kept them in a hardcore secure safe to prevent this very scenario.
Aw, dammit, the cable from my cable box to the TV went loose and it took me a bit before I figured that out and fixed it. Thankfully I was taping this episode for later anyway.
Okay, so is Hawkins' new story real or yet another cover? And I don't care whether or not you were trying to ingratiate yourself into the cell, by providing those badges, you're directly responsible for every city that got bombed.
Wait. If Hawkins has worked with Big Bald Bad Guy before, why didn't he know the guy's name when he saw the picture of him?
Aw, Daddy Green is drowning his sorrow in solitude.
Okay, I love that Mimi is making the chicken her confidante. DAMMIT! Street Punk is still dating Bonnie AND coming around now!
And Hawkins gets the better of SuperSkeet. Again. Some more.
Okay, so Jimmy did stick around. Too bad he's kinda clueless about, well... everything. And I don't know about you, but nothing says trust-building to me like pulling loaded guns on each other and threatening to kill people.
And Allison finally reacts to having killed Sarah. I really like the scenes with Darcy and Allison.
You "couldn't stop all of them"? Hawkins, honey, your efforts stopped ONE and very likely made all the rest possible in the first place.
Re: flashbacks: ...Nope. Still not feeling any kind of sympathy for Hawkins.
As was pointed out on the TWoP boards a few weeks back, if the bomb was delicate enough that it needed to be suspended by itself in the middle of an otherwise empty delivery truck, then wouldn't it have been AT THE VERY LEAST damaged by all the rough treatment Hawkins has given it since then? (bumped around on a handtruck, buried is broken, cold earth, thumped on by a shovel)
Oh, Hawkins totally put invisible air quotes around "help" right there. I love how he just dissed Jake while psychoforcing him into Hawkins' recruit.
Aww... :-( Chicken Confidante finally got "let go from the company".
Papa Green? I'd be careful about eating food that Mama Green prepared while out in the middle of nowhere. You might not make it back.
Okay, so Hawkins does finally get who Big Bad Bald Guy is. Of course, now we have to figure out whether or not BBBG is still working for DHS or not.
Next: New Bern ain't the paradise we've been led to believe it is. Not that this is a surprise to anyone with any kind of observation skills.
