From last night

I work as the office manager/front desk person for a very small dental office (5 staff total, including the dentist, assistant and hygeinist). Barring serious asshattery, we're unfailingly polite and nice to our patients. It makes them feel more at ease, which means that they're (somewhat) less nervous in the chair and therefore more likely to complete necessary treatment.

HOWEVER.

If you, one of our patients, see me walking out of a grocery store with a full cart 45 minutes after we close, don't, I repeat: DON'T, deliberately block my cart and "jokingly" ask me if "the doc sent [me] grocery shopping for him." First of all: AHASDFHHADFASGDGAFH~!!!!!! Second of all: the doctor is perfectly capable of doing his own grocery shopping, and in fact told me that he was going to do so as we were closing up. That's what reminded me that I needed to do so as well. Third of all: just because you are acquanted with me does not give you permission to touch my food, even if it's packaged and in grocery bags.

In short: I'm tired after a long day at work and I don't need you gettin' all up in my grill. Goway.
