trollprincess yet, you may be interested in the costume party she's currently hosting. The premise is that you choose and use a userpic of a character from... well, practically anywhere (though most people are choosing fictional characters), and roleplay as that person. The first party went so well that she has decided to make this an approximately monthly event.
I'm currently playing as Beast, in case you couldn't guess. ;-)
