lysariala called me last night, understandably upset, because her paycheck from last week didn't get deposited into her account. She was pissed at me because I was the one who was taking care of depositing our paychecks since she was flying to Florida. I mailed the checks out on Friday, and hadn't paid attention to what was going on until she left a message for me last night/this morning.
So I call our bank's 24-hour toll-free number & find that both paychecks were paid into my account, despite the different account numbers on the back. When I get to work (and the bank opens), I'm calling the local NFCU branch up and giving them a piece of my mind.lysariala has at least one bounced check because of this screw-up, and since it's the bank's fault, I think they should waive any fees on their end and pay for any late fees on the payees end.
Gah. What a wonderful way to wake up.
